Hi again scrappers, well i found this little project on line, (or similar,i put my own flavour to it as we do) and ive been having a ball making these Easel Cards! they sit up for show, and fold down flat to post1 A great invention, im sure you would agree. Another nice idea is to put a small pic on the front, and stamp around. I made one for my grandsons 6th birthday, the pic had him with his cake, all smiles, 2 teeth missing lol!! and lots of stars and cut outs. very boysie.
The ideas are endless with these little guys.
give them a try for your next special card you may want to pop in the post for some one.

These little card fronts are an idea i came up with for a swap im involved in. I really love working with pastels, and just love the little bird punch, which is another "Stampin Up" punch. Ive also run the first two layers through the big shot machine, which we sell also, useing the lattice textured folder. ive also added some glitter glue on the Blossom Branch, for added bling! gotta get some bling in somewhere! lol!

Yay 1st Post!!!

hi all, so pleased to put up my first post.
especially using this recent favourite pic of hubby n i on valentines day!
I'm not one usually for the "red theme" however, i thought this pic lent itself to head that way. so I've used a lovely range from STAMPIN UP called "love notes" and stamp set aptly called "Love Defined" I really enjoyed the inking, n colouring in as well as the lovely Valentine stamp (under the picture)
The black Lacy trim bits are made with our "punch Border Eyelet" i just love this punch its like having a touch of elegance on hand any time a project calls for it!
The butterflies is another punch from SU.
I've put crystal lacquer on them and some little bling gems. So it just goes to show, if you're game enough to try something a little different to what you would normally do ie: colour themes, then you may be pleasantly surprised with your finished project!
